  1. I was looking at “my programs” on Strokelink. To do custom programs, there is a charge of $19.99, but I wasn’t able to find standard programs (which I am assuming won’t have a charge). I have written the developer, and will report back when I hear from them.

  2. There are 7 FREE therapy programs in StrokeLink: FAME, Functional Strength, GRASP level 1, GRASP level 2, GRASP level 3, Mirror Box Therapy & Oromotor exercises. If you want to create your own program there is a small charge. This feature will be available in the next release.

    • I have checked out Strokelink and was able to find the 7 free programs. When you do the exercises, the app automatically keeps track of the time that you spend doing the exercises, and records it so you can keep track of your progress. If you want to learn more about GRASP (upper extremity program) you can go to the website http://neurorehab.med.ubc.ca/grasp/ . If you want to learn more about FAME, you can go to the website http://neurorehab.med.ubc.ca/fame/

I was involved as a site coordinator for the GRASP research project in 2006 with Janice Eng and Jocelyn Harris – it has been rewarding to see how the program has been put into practice across Canada.
